The Executive Committee of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) is elected by the WCPT Member Organisations and consists of the President, Vice President and a member from each Region.

Members of the Executive Committee must be from different Member Organisations and have served on the governing body of a Member Organisation or one of its subordinate groups.

The President and Vice President are elected at the WCPT General Meeting held every four years.  Regional Members of the Executive Committee are elected by the Region and confirmed at the WCPT General Meeting.

The Executive Committee meets at least once annually to conduct the business of WCPT consistent with our Articles of Association and policy directions of the General Meeting.
