WCPT CBR Forum - NEW!
On 1 November 2005 WCPT launched its discussion forum for CBR. This is hosted on the WCPT website and you can access it from the main WCPT home page as well as this link. The Forum aims to:
- Facilitate communication and debate on CBR among physical therapists who belong to the Member Organisations or subgroups of WCPT
- Provide a forum of support for physical therapist's work in relation to CBR in their country and internationally
- Inform WCPT's work on CBR aimed at supporting member countries and subgroups
- Enable WCPT to keep people informed of developments
Within the CBR Forum we have a number of discussion Boards:
- International Policy
- Critical Appraisal
- Projects
- Collaboration
- News & Events
New Boards can only be set up by forum administrators. Therefore, if you would like a new Board setting up please email Tracy Bury at tbury@wcpt.org.
Within each Board we then have Topics which enable discussions on discrete areas, rather than lumping everything together under the Board. Therefore, if you want to discuss a new issue on a Board you should create a new Topic. Anyone can create new Topics on a Board using the new Topic button. This should help you to share information on the areas that you are particualry intersted in.

Anyone can join the Forum and we hope that the community of contributors will grow over time, so do spread the word.
An international e-mail discussion list administered at the Centre for Disability Studies at the University of Leeds. The list (started in December 1994) is the largest of its kind in the world, and provides a forum for discussion on all aspects of research within the field for disability studies - theoretical, political and practical.
