WCPT is committed to evidence based practice
Leaders of Member Organisations, Regions and Subgroups
convened in London, England, in October 2001 for a landmark
WCPT meeting on Evidence Based Practice (EBP). The planned meeting came after a March 2000 decision
of the Executive Committee to support international efforts in this area.
This meeting facilitated the exchange of information, developed a shared vision for EBP
in physical therapy and stimulated thinking about plans for collaborative international
projects. The outcome of the meeting was a programme of work to
support the development of EBP in physical therapy.

Organisations and subgroups, as well as participants at the meeting. It can
